Musical Tots
Give your child a good start in music! Musical Tots classes lead your child on a voyage of discovery in music. Fun Weekly Classes for ages 1-4 year olds teach beat, rhythm and pitch in a structured but fun way using singing games, percussion instruments and puppets.

Helping to build your child’s confidence, improving concentration and developing social skills, these classes aim to teach basic musicianship skills to your child enabling them to keep a steady beat, understand rhythm and learn about pitch. The classes are based upon Kodaly Musicianship which helps train your child to develop a musical ear.

Musical Tots – Age 1-2 years Saturday 9.15am – 9.55am

Musical Tots – Age 2-4 years Saturday 10am – 10.50am

Toddler and Parent classes give your child a grounding in these concepts focusing on beat and introducing fast/slow, loud/quiet and high/low. Both parent and child join in and have fun.

Musical Maestros

They learn how to keep a beat, clap rhythms and even start to read music. They get a head start in music, so that learning an instrument becomes natural to them.

Junior Musicianship Class
For young children aged 5-9 years, we run Musicianship Classes. The classes follow the principles of Kodaly and increase the child’s musicality and overall musicianship. They learn more about the beat, rhythm and pitch in a fun way, through games and percussion, becoming more confident and musical in their approach to playing an instrument. They eventually learn to sight sing by learning sol fa.Children have fun whilst learning. They also get a chance to try out a variety of musical instruments including piano. drums, ukulele and guitar.

Classes are held on a Saturday at 10am-11am, 11.15am-12.15pm and 1.30pm-2.30pm. They each last for an hour and cost £72 for a 9 week block.
