RAMH Football For All Open Day

About RAMH Football For All Open Day

RAMH look to promote recovery from mental ill health and enable people to live independent fulfilled lives.

The ‘football for all’ event is an open day to promote football as an inclusive sport. In addition it is hoped to show the sport as a beneficial physical activity for maintaining and improving people’s physical and mental health and wellbeing.

The event would host a number of games and activity sessions and be looking to break down any and all perceived barriers in participation, ‘I’m too old’, ‘I’m too fat’, ‘footballs not for girls’, ‘I suffer with my health’.

By promoting through this open day it is hoped this would generate awareness and interest in the RAMH Saturday football sessions. In addition subsequent partnership agencies Live active, ManvFAT, Bishopton Ladies FC and UWS. This event will look to support people in to the sport and promote all the groups working with football off the mainstream.
