Our Arts Festival's origins were 19 years ago as a small, one day book festival which was very successful. Then, after the first two years, other arts organisations requested to take part. The festival then grew to last over a weekend and now it has grown to be a multi week programme.
We aim to offer a varied and inclusive programme of arts for all ages. Not only do we invite some well-known artists to come and share with us their talent and experience, we recognise the huge artistic talent within our community and the Festival strives to showcase these members of our village. Over the last two years we have introduced workshops and come and try events to encourage people to engage with different forms of the arts. This year we will be expanding on this.
Lochwinnoch Arts Festival warmly invites you to come and share with us our 19th Festival 2020.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
