About Local Partnership Events

Following the review of community level governance, a new model of Local Partnerships was agreed by Council in September. These Local Partnerships will replace the previous Local Area Committees.

The aims of Local Partnerships are to:
*Make connections and networks between community groups and the wider community
*Identify, set and share local community priorities
*Listen to, consult and represent local communities
*Distribute grants to support local priorities

There are events in all the new Local Partnership areas, but please just come along on the date/time that suits you.
