Kilbarchan Guide Centre
About Kilbarchan Guide Centre
The large hall is used for guiding units each week-day evening for pack and company meetings, fun, games and arts and crafts.
The hall can comfortably accommodate 100 people and is therefore suitable for events such as coffee mornings, parties, discos and fund raising events. We regret that the hall cannot be hired for teenage parties.
There are chairs and folding tables available, as well as an induction loop system, sound system and microphones, and a powerpoint projector (for disc or video) complete with screen.
The large hall is also used for classes each day or evening.
The small hall is ideal for meetings and workshops. It can accommodate 20 seated around tables or in rows.
The small hall is usually utilised for management meetings, parent meetings and small presentations.
A modern fitted kitchen is available for hire when booking either of the 2 halls. It has:
• a fridge freezer
• range style electric cooker, hob grill and large oven
• double bowl commercial sink
• dish washer (with a 2 minute cycle)
• crockery and cutlery
Other facilities in the Guide Centre are:
• two washrooms with 2 toilets and washbasins in each
• disabled toilet
