Warm welcomes and hearty hospitality have been dished up within the walls of The Boarding House at Howwood since 1770, when the old coaching inn revived weary travellers and trusty steeds. Things have changed quite a bit since but, just like way back when, the welcome couldn’t be warmer.
Our modern kitchen serves up tasty seasonal dishes small and large all day long inside and out on our terrace – informal dining all the way.
The deli counter provides anti pasti delights for you to enjoy on the road or elsewhere and both bars offer a great range of liquid refreshments in a relaxed, comfortable setting.
Upstairs, our spacious function room and roof terrace caters for all occasions and events, from business meetings to family celebrations.
While we have retained some of the original features of the old coaching inn, and dogs are welcome in the back bar, The Boarding House does not cater for horses.
