The first is Smokies, a tasty tale of two lonely old spinsters who make a living catching and smoking fish on a remote shore. Neither of these strange sisters has much luck in capturing the hearts of the sailors and fishermen who find themselves washed up on their shore. Unable to escape the sisters’ romantic pursuits the reluctant suitors come to a rather gruesome end. Smokies is a visual story told without words and is accessible to deaf and hard of hearing audiences. Smokies takes place on Tuesday 28 October at Paisley Arts Centre at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 (£6 conc) + bkg fee*
Cut is a dance performance with a difference, a murder mystery tour taking the audience on a terrifying journey to explore human nature, secrets and darkest fears, transporting audiences back to the faded glamour of the 1920s in a number of dark undiscovered spaces throughout Paisley Town Hall. Cut will take place at Paisley Town Hall on Thurs 30 October at 6.30pm and 9pm. Tickets are £12 (£10 conc) + bkg fee*
Song Noir is a new multimedia show from Scottish electronic duo, Pumajaw, featuring spine-tingling vocals, electronic soundscapes and retro-futuristic films. Song Noir takes place on Friday 31 October at Paisley Arts Centre at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 (£6 conc) + bkg fee*
Tickets for all of these performances are available at the Box Office on 0300 300 1210 or www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/onlinebooking.
