Charity spreads Christmas cheer with prize giveaway

The Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland (SBH Scotland) Grand Christmas Raffle is back for 2017 and this year it’s a cracker.

Charity spreads Christmas cheer with prize giveaway

The Scottish charity is aiming to sell 20,000 tickets over the festive season and will be giving away a sleigh full of tinsel-tastic gifts including the star prize of £1,000 in cash.

To be in with a chance of winning, people should purchase a £1 raffle ticket, with all proceeds going to the charity which provides personalised support to hundreds of children, adults and young people affected by spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus.

For those looking to embrace the season of goodwill and increase their chances of lifting the jackpot they can buy a whole book of raffle tickets for just £10.

If £1,000 is not enough to tempt supporters, there are plenty of other prizes to be won including a £100 voucher for Phase Eight; a spa day for two at The Westerwood Hotel and Country Club in Cumbernauld; traditional afternoon tea for two at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow and a £50 meal voucher for Frankie & Benny’s.

The draw will take place on Thursday 21 December, giving the winner three whole shopping days to fill up on festive goodies ahead of Christmas Day.

Deborah Roe fundraising director at SBH Scotland, said; “Each year SBH Scotland is tasked with raising £1million which allows us to provide specialist support and information to the hundreds of families across Scotland who depend on us.

“Our annual Christmas raffle is a great way to raise funds, whilst also giving us an opportunity to give back to all our wonderful supporters. This year, we have an array of fantastic prizes and I would like to thank all the businesses and individuals who donated something for the raffle.”

To buy tickets please contact SBH Scotland on 03455 211 600 or visit www.sbhscotland.org.uk/raffle
