Renfrew Gala Day is back for 2018 with a Western theme so get your boots on and mosey on down for an afternoon of free family fun on Sunday 3 June, 1pm-5pm.
Held at Robertson Park, the gala day promises an exciting array of toe-tapping activities for all the family including a funfair, inflatables, face painting and more.
To kick-start the day, a parade will set off from the corner of Station Road and Canal Street at 1pm and will feature a variety of local community groups and families.
Erskine Music and Media Studio will be hosting the live stage at the event, featuring performances from local singers including groups from Angela McCallum School of Music and RockUs.
Local dance schools Jazzle Dazzle and Karen E Moir Dance and Drama will also be treating spectators to excellent performances on the day. You definitely won’t want to miss the performance from the Grooving Grannies!
Alongside the performances will be a range of activities to keep everyone entertained. Discover a range of community, craft and charity stalls, funfair, inflatables, face painting and a tea room.
You also have the chance to Beat the Goalie with Renfrew Football Club and ‘try’ your hand at a spot of Rugby with Paisley Rugby Club.
Renfrewshire’s Depute Provost, Cathy McEwan said: “The Renfrew Gala Day is a fantastic event for all the family and I can’t wait to see everyone there.
“With all the activities taking place and free entry, where better to spend a Sunday afternoon?
“You won’t be disappointed so make sure and come along for a great day out.”
