We are Scotland's national epilepsy charity and are keen to raise awareness of epilepsy, and spread the word about our charity and the help, information and support we can provide to anyone affected by epilepsy in Scotland.
Come along, talk to us, ask questions and pick up some free information leaflets!
Epilepsy is one of the most serious neurological conditions in the world and affects around 55,000 people in Scotland. People with epilepsy face many barriers in employment and the provision of goods and services; epilepsy sadly is still a stigmatised condition which often results in discrimination; in addition, there is a lack of epilepsy support and resources in many areas of Scotland.
This is why we are holding these type of information events across the country.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Free Epilepsy Information Event are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
