Monday 25th January: The Secret World of Garden Birds

Join TCV for this one hour interactive session with a craft session - learn to make your own bird feeder and take part in this introduction to some of the more common garden birds in the UK, how to identify them and what we can feed them, especially in winter!
Tuesday 26th January: Discover Animal Tracks and Signs

An introductory session for children to discover the exciting world of animal tracks and signs in the outdoors.
Join expert Dan Puplett on a journey to uncover hidden clues and signs which animals leave in the landscape. This is your chance to turn into an animal detective.
Using skulls, footprints, photos and video footage learn how to identify signs from wildlife with lots of opportunity for quizzing and Q&A with the expert.
Wednesday 27th January: Fungi and Mycelium Art

An introductory session for children, we will look at fungi and its ability to connect the natural world. From helping trees to talk to each other to being natural litter pickers, fungi has made its way through the natural world in impressive ways!
Thursday 28th January: Minibeast Safari and Craft
2pm
An introductory session for children to come on a virtual minibeast safari. Come with David from TCV on a magical minibeast safari as we learn about all the amazing bugs living in you back garden! David will show you some of the common minibeasts that live all around us.
Friday 29th January: Big Garden Birdwatch LIVE
An introductory session to identify common garden birds while taking part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch LIVE. Make sure you have your starter kit from the RSPB to take part.
Helpful tips and real-time action as we spot the birds in our garden together. Find out the best way to carry out the survey, what your results will mean plus tips on feeding our garden friends.
A great option to have a social garden birdwatch and a chance to ask questions!
