Are horror and romance inherently subversive? Can any story be seen through a queer lens? Whilst LGBTQ+ stories are becoming increasingly mainstream, for many decades, queer stories were marginalised and queer people kept silent.
Screenwriter Michael Lee Richardson and novelist Tasha Suri bring brand new perspectives to so-called ‘trash’ books and films, showing us that perhaps those voices weren’t really so silent after all.
Join them in conversation with author and festival Guest Curator Kirsty Logan to dig deeper into the stories we think we know.
