The Cottage was the family home and weaving ‘shed’ of the Paisley poet Robert Tannahill, where he lived from early childhood till his death in 1810. Robert was the first Secretary of the Paisley Burns Club when it was founded in 1805 and the Club now holds its monthly meetings here.
For Doors Open Days 2021 members of the Burns Club and the Tannahill MacDonald Club will be on hand to explain the history of the Cottage and some historic artefacts we hold.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
