Friday 19th November at 6pm to 8pm
A fire engine bearing Santa will commence ferrying Santa around several locations of Erskine. The tour will start at 6pm at the Bridgewater Shopping Centre and continue around Erskine along a predefined route. We aim to finish by around 8pm.
We have enlisted the aid of an app, named Sleigh Tracker, which will track Santa’s progress around Erskine. We will publicise the tracker on our social media allowing you to track Santa’s progress without having to waiting around the cold.
We will have buckets for collections and will be carrying sacks to collect letters to Santa from the children. Santa will open them a few days later and write a letter back to the children.
To ease the burden on Santa, he asks that a stamped addressed envelope is provided with the children’s letters so that the postman can deliver his reply to the correct address in time for Christmas.
Sunday 5th December between 2pm and 5pm
Santa will be making a Guest appearance at Erskine Salvation Army hall. Children will be able to meet and sit and talk to Santa while he sits in his armchair.
Parents are welcome to take photographs if they so wish. We will arrange the chairs to maintain a distance of one metre in order to comply with current advice and there will be a one way system in operation in order to reduce the risk of any infections.
These events are free, but we appreciate any donations into our collection buckets on hand. We will have sacks again available to collect children’s letters which Santa will reply to, at a later date.
We hope to see you there!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
