Who are the unsung heroines of Renfrewshire, where can we find them and how are they celebrated or remembered? How do these hidden stories affect our lives and identities today? We’ll begin this Glasgow Women’s Library workshop with a chance to see the Making Her Mark exhibition and then have fun with crafts to create our own mementos to a Renfrewshire woman from history or from our own lives. Discover real life tales of tragedy and hardship but also of resilience and creativity, then create your own bookmark, picture card or mini scrapbook to take away.
The Making Her Mark exhibition is supported by Renfrewshire culture, heritage and events fund.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
