The Metamorphosis: Unplugged

Franz Kafka's iconic, tragicomic novella, about a man who wakes one morning to find he has been transformed into a giant insect, is brought to life in this new adaptation at Renfrew Town Hall!

The Metamorphosis: Unplugged

About The Metamorphosis: Unplugged

Based on Franz Kafka’s brilliantly funny and compelling story, The Metamorphosis: Unplugged is a warm-hearted retelling of the mysterious tale of Gregor Samsa, who wakes up one morning to find he’s turned into a giant insect. Told from the perspective of his sister Greta, it’s a musical, cabaret-style night out form the team that brought you The Dark Carnival: Unplugged.

Join us on tour around Scotland, as we welcome you to Gregor’s strange world with a free (though not compulsory!) glass of something for everyone.

"this warm-hearted yet sometimes hard-edged reflection on life, death and eternity seems set to delight audiences up and down Scotland" The Scotsman on The Dark Carnival: Unplugged.
