About A Paisley Kiss

A Paisley Kiss (Cavalleria Rusticana) by Mascagni

Professional soloists and Amicus orchestra join Paisley Opera’s full community chorus in a new production of Mascagni’s romantic masterpiece ‘Cavalleria Rusticana’, with a new, specially commissioned “Paisley” translation.

Postponed since June 2020, we are incredibly excited about at last presenting 'A Paisley Kiss' (Cavalleria Rusticana), Mascagni's masterpiece about love and betrayal, all set around the town square on Easter Sunday. The performance lasts about 75 minutes during which the audience is free to move up and down the large outdoor space with the action.

**There will be limited seats provided for those unable to stand, but these must be booked in advance. Please leave seated tickets for those who need it**

Exciting, accessible opera for all.

A Paisley Kiss takes place at Central Road, Paisley PA1 1EN which is a covered but outdoor space. Please dress for the weather. Toilet provision is limited.
