About Louis Rive and Archie Collingridge
The first Scotland on Tour event hosted by Lochwinnoch Arts Festival.
A great gig in a beautiful venue in Renfrewshire our doors will open at 7pm with two amazing artists performing.
Louis Rive our sings about people and places. Like Tom Waits and Judy Collins he wants wants to follow on from top lyricists like Michael Marra, Liz Lochead, and Hamish Imlach. Louis is a regular on the BBC as part of ‘Upload’, a BBC Introducing Programme. The success of this led to a show during the 2021 Fringe Festival as part of the BBC Radio Scotland Stage.
Louis is supported by Archie a Lochwinnoch up and coming musician. A graduate of National Music School (classical piano, voice, guitar) and Junior Royal Conservatoire (jazz piano & voice), he’s performed in venues from Glasgow’s iconic King Tut’s to the Royal Albert Hall. His own music ranges from jazz-informed acoustic and pop to drum & bass, and has earned plaudits from top artists, including Tom Grennan and even Van Halen.
