The exhibition contains artworks, text, and audio-visual material to explore the historical, economic, geographical, demographic and creative aspects of life in Gaza.
The exhibition presents the cause and context of the Palestinian experience with a focus on the land, the place and the people. It provides a glimpse into the arts and culture, historical locations and heritage to look behind the curtain of war and conquest by narrating stories to contextualise Gaza within Palestine, the region and the world. Creative Renfrewshire is a network linking a diverse group of creative and cultural practitioners from Renfrewshire and managed by a volunteer Board. Group for Gaza Inverclyde is a volunteer group that includes anyone who desires to protect the lives and dignity of the people of Palestine. The Palestinian Museum is a non-governmental association dedicated to supporting an open and vibrant Palestinian culture locally and internationally. The Museum presents and contributes to narratives on Palestinian history, culture and society from new and critical perspectives. It also offers spaces for creative ventures, educational programmes, and innovative research.
