A new national drawing competition & exhibition ~ 1-30 May 2026

A month-long show featuring work by artists from the Urban Sketchers movement and an Open Call for Entries for any artist of any age working in drawing and sketching.

The exhibition will take place at The Art Department, Paisley in its brand new galleries at 9-11 Causeyside Street.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a series of workshops dedicated to sketching and drawing looking at architecture, mapping, perspective drawing and exploring materials and techniques.

An element of the exhibition will be “Sketch Live” where work made on the day of the workshops from in and around the town can be shown as they emerge.
