From its trailblazing folk and punk scenes to Paolo Nutini’s big break and the enduring legacy of Gerry Rafferty, Paisley has always punched above its weight musically.
Glasgow Music City Tours are proud to present the Paisley Music Trail, a bespoke guided walking tour which follows a compact route through the historic town centre, touching on Scotland’s first rock’n’roll riot, the pop appeal of the Paisley pattern, weaver poet Robert Tannahill and how Paisley became a punk Mecca.
Please note this event will involve moving around outdoors so please dress for the weather. A basic level of walking fitness will be required.
Glasgow Music City Tours have been offering guided music themed walking tours for the past decade, and are delighted to expand into Paisley to bring alive stories of the musicians who have stayed, played and made music in Scotland's Town of the Year.
