Local History Cafe's are run by Renfrewshire Heritage from the Urban Historian to allow anyone with a interest in Paisley and Renfrewshire history to meet over coffee and to learn or discuss anything to do with the Old County of Renfrew's history.
The sessions are held in Blend at Paisley Arts Centre and normally have a variety of topics. Between February and June 2026 the topics are a series looking the history of the Monastery of Paisley.
The dates and topics are:
21st March - The Priors of the Monastery
18th April - The Abbots of the Monastery
16th May - The Commendators of the Monastery
20th June - The Abbey after the Reformation
We have a £5 booking fee which goes to supporting the Beatson Cancer Charity.
