Our 2026 discovery series of talks explores the religious history of the County of Renfrew along with other topics. We meet on the last Tuesday of the month in Paisley St George's Church.
We cover the Old County of Renfrew which means we include Inverclyde, East Renfrewshire and parts of Glasgow along with modern day Renfrewshire in our research and talks.
Our topics for the first half of 2026 are:
24th March - Paisley Abbey
28th April - The West Relief Kirk & Black Peter in Paisley (Two talks in one)
26th May - The Parish of Neilston: A History
30th June - The early churches of Renfrewshire
There is a booking fee of £7 for each talk.
All are welcome to come along and see the history around you.
Additional Dates: 28 April 2026, 26 May 2026, 30 June 2026
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
