An inclusive, strong and active Scout Group running for over 100 years with established connections in our local community, across the Scout District and Region.
The Group fully supports the Scout Organisation's #SkillsForLife Strategy and aims to help develop better futures for all our members. Our experienced and well qualified Leaders pride themselves in developing the skills and knowledge of our young people by providing a varied and most importantly, a fun programme of activities and events suitable for all age groups.
Activities planned for the coming session include:
Fire building and fire fighting skills,
Cooking skills,
Stop motion film making,
Developing navigation skills - hikes, map and compass work,
Hazard identification,
Science night,
Games,
Communication skills.
There's so much, we can't list it all.
If that sounds of interest, why not have a look at our website, send us an email, or come along and see what we do for a few weeks before deciding to join.
