Our former church level offers something utterly unique for a wide range of musical performances, ranging from orchestral, choral, folk, rock, jazz, theatre and dance.

Romantic, awe-inspiring and unlike any other venue in Scotland, you will be surrounded by gothic architecture and spine-tingling acoustics.

Coats will take any concert and event to the next level and provides an impressive 800 person capacity.

For smaller and more intimate performances, our grand ballroom is the perfect space. Theatre, ballet and smaller acoustic and music concerts and events can be held for an audience of up to 300, letting each and every guest feel like they are sitting in the front row.

Along with the performance spaces, our function rooms can be used for backstage areas, green rooms, meeting locations or arranged to fulfil any requirement.

Our goal is to make full use of the historic property, and there is no better way of showcasing it than through your music and artist performances.
