About Fox and Hounds

Situated in the beautiful countryside village of Houston, a mere 10 minute drive from Glasgow Airport.

Taken over by a local family at the start of 2020 the Fox and Hounds is part of the Gryffe Valley Pubs family. This legendary pub has a rich history of more than 240 years which is complemented by contemporary and creative ideas that fondly remembers the past, takes pride in the present and looks forward to the future.

We are incredibly proud to see our pub grow into Renfrewshire’s favourite venue; a progressive, family friendly spot which also acts as a community space that supports local organisations and events throughout our village and beyond.
