Our club, the oldest in Scotland, was founded in 1857.
We meet every Tuesday evening at 7.30pm. Our year commences the first Tuesday of September and runs through until April.
The society is open to photographers of all levels and strives to promote an ongoing interest in all aspects of photography. We offer encouragement and advice to beginners through involvement in the activities of the club and by group activities tailored to suit their needs.
We offer a varied programme of formal activities including Competitions, Studio Nights, and Lectures from September to April, with photo assignments, informal meetings and outings during the summer period.
Film's Cool, held on Tuesdays at Ralston Community Centre, is a place where kids from 8-15 can learn the skills of film making!
