Showcase Cinema Paisley undergoes luxury transformation!
Film lovers in Paisley can now sit back, relax and enjoy the newly upgraded Showcase Cinema de Lux!

To celebrate the refurbishment of the cinema, Showcase Cinema de Lux Paisley hosted a VIP launch party last night where guests caught a preview screening of hotly anticipated new film, Dolittle, starring Robert Downey Jr., from the comfort of the new fully customisable recliner seats.
Dolittle, set in 19th Century England, tells the story of an eccentric physician who discovers he can talk to animals.
Before the film screening, guests had the chance to explore the brand-new Lounge Bar, serving both alcoholic and soft drinks. Self-service Coca-Cola Freestyle machines have also been introduced, giving customers the choice of over 100 drinks combinations.
The transformation has seen every seat in all 14 screens replaced with fully customisable, electric leather recliners, providing the ultimate relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the latest blockbusters, such as 1917 and Bad Boys For Life.
The luxury upgrade also comes at no extra cost to customers, as ticket prices remain the same as before the refurbishment.
To make the most of the Showcase Cinema de Lux experience, guests can also sign up to the Showcase Insider scheme where members earn 10% back in rewards on everything they spend on tickets, food and drink, not to mention access to special screenings, exclusive competitions and member-only offers.
Mark Barlow, UK General Manager for Showcase Cinemas said: “We continue to lead the market in offering unparalled comfort and are thrilled to bring our second Showcase Cinema de Lux site to Scotland. Feedback from guests so far has been incredible, and the upgrades come just in time for the biggest Hollywood event of the year, The 92nd Academy Awards.
All the staff have worked hard on the upgrade which allows visitors to experience films and events in total comfort with no increase to ticket prices at the new Showcase Cinema de Lux.”
