Thistles & Tykes have announced on their social media pages that the venue will open its doors to the public next month, with plans to offer a safe, engaging and vibrant environment for young children to explore, play, and socialise.
Thistles & Tykes is conveniently located in the heart of Renfrew, just 5 minutes from Braehead Shopping Centre and will aim to bring a fresh, modern take on soft play with their aesthetically pleasing pastel colours, award winning coffee and cakes and Instagrammable touch points.
The new role play village will offer a fantastic mix of fun and physical activity, from a slide to mini obstacle courses aimed at children walking-7 years old. In addition to these features, the venue will include mini-themed rooms that will offer unique, immersive play experiences for younger children. These mini-rooms will transport little ones into their favorite environments, with themed areas like a mini Supermarket, Vet and Laundrette, where they can role-play and use their imagination in a fun, hands-on way.
The spacious facility ensures that children can enjoy hours of entertainment, while parents can relax in chic, comfortable seating areas, with offerings from Thomsons Coffee and the multi award winning Three Sisters Bake and Wi-Fi available on-site.
“We are thrilled to bring Thistles & Tykes to Renfrew,” said Amanda Bishop, the founder of the new venue. “As a mum of a toddler myself I spend a lot of time in soft plays and trying to find ways to entertain my son, and I felt there was a real gap in the market for a role play village that the kids will love but also that looks really nice and is a cute place for parents to hang out in and get a really nice cake and coffee.
The aim is to create a really welcoming space where children can grow, learn, and play in a safe and stimulating environment. We understand the importance of community and family-friendly offerings, and we’re proud to offer a unique experience that both children and parents will love.”
Stay tuned for more details coming soon on their official opening day which will have a special Easter theme, complete with goody bags for the little ones.
