The free to attend two-day event, which is one of Scotland’s largest outdoor food and drink festivals will take place in Abbey Close and Bridge Street in Paisley town centre, welcoming a vibrant street food market and host of top street food vendors offering a range of global dishes.
This year’s festival has been supported by funding from EventScotland, part of VisitScotland which will allow the event to take place over a larger area, expanding out onto Bridge Street and Bridge Street car park to offer plenty more food, drink and entertainment options for visitors to enjoy.
Renfrewshire CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) will be back this year bringing visitors the very best Scottish ales and craft beers in their popular Beer Tent located in Bridge Street car park.
This year’s festival will have more than 50 traders and vendors offering a range of delicious dishes for visitors to enjoy. Options for a range of dietary requirements will be catered for as well as some fantastic kids' menu options.
Gillian Reith from Three Sisters Bake said: “We are so excited to be heading back to Paisley Food & Drink Festival on Friday 25 & Saturday 26 April! This is the first outdoor event in our calendar and every year it is one of the best festivals we attend – truly something for everyone whether you are a family with young children or foodies looking to sample a few cocktails! Trust us when we say this is one of Scotland's BEST family friendly food festivals!”
More local Renfrewshire businesses will take part in the festival than ever before including Two Towns Down who will have a bar in Abbey Close, Upper East Side and The Bungalow.
Local vendor, Scott Kennan from Streat Scullery, said: “While our food truck is out and about all over Scotland, we really look forward to the Paisley Food and Drink Festival as it brings us back to where it all started with many of our original customers popping by to say hello. You always get such a warm welcome from the Paisley Buddies and it's an event in our calendar we always look forward to. See you all there!”
The Keg will also have a bar tent in Abbey Close with a brilliant range of bands playing live music for people to enjoy with a drink and a bite.
The Brew Hub tented area located on the grass at Cotton Street will offer a more relaxed space for visitors to enjoy the event.
A number of festival favourites will be back to delight the crowds including ice-cream and churro bar, Loop and Scoop, Scozzese woodfired pizza, Lemon Squeezy and Fries Guys. While the Fizzbuzz prosecco van and Caribbean bar, Rum Shack are sure to offer a tasty tipple for the grown-up crowd.
Adding to the atmosphere over the two days, The Bungalow will keep the crowds entertained with a range of live music planned across both days.
There will be plenty to keep the kids entertained with inflatable play area, giant games station, face painting, food, seed-bomb making, craft and music workshops, with walk-up availability on Saturday and street performances while you relax on the deck chairs by the river.
Paisley Food and Drink Festival will take place from 4pm-10pm on Friday 25 April and from 12pm – 9pm on Saturday 26 April.
In addition to Paisley Food and Drink Festival there’s plenty to enjoy around the town centre that weekend. Ayrshire Farmers Market will take place from 10am – 2pm on Saturday 25 with plenty of tasty delights for visitors to purchase.
This year will also see Paisley Book Festival, run by OneRen, take place on the same weekend with lots of exciting events designed to ignite a child’s love of reading.
There is sure to be something to whet everyone’s palate at Paisley Food and Drink Festival 2025.
