Designed to be as accessible as it is exciting, Paisley Alive promises everything from daytime yoga, high-energy workouts to self-care workshops and even main stage music performances by leading Scottish and UK acts. Children under 12 will also go free, making Paisley Alive a true event for all generations.
Organisers of the festival are inviting the public to shape the future of Paisley Alive during its pre-launch phase. From event programming to making the event happen in the heart of Paisley, sign up now via www.paisleyalivefestival.com and your voice will help bring this experience to life.
Curated by Renfrewshire entrepreneur, dad and electronic festival promoter, Scott McFarlane, Paisley Alive is a first for Scotland - and Paisley, and taps into the booming wellness industry which doesn’t look like it’ll be slowing down anytime soon.
The hybrid weekend event will offer a new festival experience and is cemented around shaping the future of Paisley with a community driven impact at its core.
Proceeds from the festival will be reinvested to restore the Barshaw Park bandstand into a year-round venue for live performances, weddings, and community events.
With a vision to create a better future for the town, and create a festival experience that the full family can attend. Scott McFarlane said: “As a dad of two young children, I wanted to build an event that my whole family could enjoy. Something that felt good, did good, and brought people together through music and motion.
“Paisley is on the rise. With over £100M being invested in cultural infrastructure, from the Museum to the Town Hall, now is the time to launch a festival that brings that momentum to the people of Paisley.”
In addition, Renfrewshire residents will receive priority access to tickets and programming, with the festival committed to celebrating and uplifting the local community first.
McFarlane is also asking Renfrewshire to support his vision to get behind the festival. To support the ambitions of the festival, simply register your interest with your email address and help shape the future of Paisley Alive via www.paisleyalivefestival.com
