Fèis Phàislig celebrated its 10th anniversary with a landmark, sold-out concert at Paisley Town Hall, bringing together over 500 attendees and more than 150 performers from across a decade of music-making.
The evening was marked by the official unveiling of the charity’s bespoke tartan, designed in consultation with young participants and created in partnership with Houston Kiltmakers, which made its public debut on stage. The concert featured the premiere of Òran Fèis Phàislig, a newly commissioned Gaelic song by acclaimed singer-songwriter Gillebrìde MacMillan, reflecting the charity’s commitment to celebrating music, language and place, alongside performances from much-loved tutors and faces of Scottish music.
This milestone event recognised the remarkable achievements of Fèis Phàislig over the past ten years and celebrated its role in championing creativity, inclusion, and the vibrant future of Scotland’s traditional music and Gaelic arts. The organisation’s 10th anniversary celebrations continue across the year.
