Classics at Castle Semple will be returning to the shores of Castle Semple Loch on the Sunday 30th October 2022 for its tenth anniversary of this highly popular Classic Car show.
Over the ten years, many bygone beauties have travelled to Lochwinnoch in Renfrewshire to enjoy the scenic location of Castle Semple Country Park which is part of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park – which covers 108 square miles of Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and North Ayrshire.
“The carpark location of the show proves very popular with the classic’s owners” said Jane Fawcett, event organiser. Staff member at Clyde Muirshiel: “Their pride and joy stays clean – as do they! It’s a very late show in the show calendar but that’s what attracts everyone. People aren’t ready to tuck their cars away for the year yet. Its one last social jaunt to a cracking, easy to find destination. Time for a blether with friends, admire some automotive eye candy and a chance to win an award or two.”
The show raises money for St Vincent’s Hospice in Howwood, who assist people living with life limiting illnesses – a charity very close to Jane’s heart – even more so after her father passed away there in January 2020. “Throughout Covid, so many charities suffered with events being cancelled and people being unable to complete their usual generous challenges. Let’s dig deep and support this incredible local charity who have helped so many people in our community. I’m sure everyone knows someone who has been helped by St Vincent’s Hospice.”
The car show is very much aimed at Classic and Historic cars with room for some classic motorbikes also. This year there will be 5 awards. To find out how to enter your vehicle, please email classicsatcastlesemple@gmail.com or call Castle Semple Visitor Centre on Mondays or Tuesdays on 0300 300 0200 option 1.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
