The Gleniffer High School Parent Teacher Association is delighted to invite the local community to this year’s Christmas Fayre, taking place on Thursday 20 November from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
It's going to be a real smash with over 30 stalls, carol singing, Gaelic music, Santa and his Elves and much, much more!
The support of the local community is essential to allow us to raise funds for the school and over the last year they have been able to financially support various initiatives including Magic Breakfast, Activity Days, Pupil Leadership and Collaboration Events and a Dumfries House Project.
The funds raised go towards so many little extras that all help make life at Gleniffer High School a place of positive learning, wellbeing and enjoyment.
Julie Connell, Chair of Gleniffer High School Parent Council, said: ‘We welcome everyone in the community to come along for an evening of festive shopping and fun. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we’re grateful to local businesses for donating prizes and to stallholders for their support.’
Lisa Chalmers, Head Teacher of Gleniffer High School, added: “We are very thankful to the PTA and staff who have volunteered their time to make this event possible. We look forward to welcoming families and the wider community. It’s a wonderful way to support our school and celebrate the festive season.”
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
