Renfrewshire’s Provost Lorraine Cameron said: “Renfrewshire has a proud military tradition and the services of commemoration are a chance to recognise those who have done so much to shape past, present, and future generations.
“It’s so important that we pay our respects to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice and I look forward to the community once again coming together to show their gratitude for all that have gone before us.”
Local community radio station Johnstone Sound will be broadcasting the Johnstone service live from Houstoun Square for anyone who is unable to attend a service in person. Visit their website from 10.50am to listen in - johnstonesound.com
