The Wizard of Oz
A Pantomime by James Barry (With Arrangements with Lazy Bee Scripts)
The story’s familiar—a tornado blows Dorothy Gale and her home to the Land of Oz, where she encounters a scarecrow who longs for a brain, a tin man who really wants a heart, and a cowardly lion who’s desperate to become brave and courageous. The elusive Wonderful Wizard of Oz is the key to all their hopes and dreams, Dorothy’s being to return to her home in Kansas.
James Barry’s adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic story The Wizard of Oz isn't strictly a British pantomime, but it does contain many panto elements... bright costumes and scenery, over-the-top characters, witches, cheesy jokes, visual jokes, songs and dance!
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Wizard of Oz Pantomime are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
