Paisley Abbey sits on the oldest occupied site within Paisley. From its foundation in 1163 it has witnessed many historic events such as the birth of King Robert II, the death of his mother Marjory Bruce, numerous Royal Visits and of course the growth of the town of Paisley itself. This online talk will explore the early history of the Abbey it’s royal connections and the surviving buildings.

Cost £7.00 per household. By booking a ticket you accept that the Urban Historian cannot provide refunds if you are unable to attend the event as the circumstances are outwith the Urban Historian’s Control. If the event is cancelled by the Urban Historian a refund or opportunity to attend another event will be provided.
