Participants will experience different elements of our main Fèis classes, giving them a fun and engaging taste of traditional music, song dance and art. They will also have the opportunity to be part of our showcase concerts, learning a Fèis song and / or preparing a short performance.
With support from Fèisean nan Gàidheal, our summer block (Apr-June) is completely free for all participants and will run on the following dates:
23rd, 30th April
7th, 14th, 21st May
11th, 18th, 25th June
We are running two sessions. The first, from 10.00-10.50, will be delivered in English with Gaelic elements. The second, from 11.00-11.50, will be delivered in Gaelic for young people in Gaelic medium education.
All of our tutors are experienced, professional musicians, skilled in working with young people. Young people are supervised at all times and we work in accordance with Child Protection and Health & Safety Guidelines. Our staff are all members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme administered by Disclosure Scotland.
