The talk will explore the history of the graveyard of the West Relief Church, laterly known as Castlehead Church and then look at the story of Peter Burnett, known in Paisley as "Black Peter".
Peter was the towns first African American, who became a well respected weaver and great friend of the poet Robert Tannahill.
Over the course of the talk, we will also look at some of the other people interred within the cemetery.
