Celebrate the 300th anniversary of the founding of the linen thread Industry in Paisley at the Linen Thread 300 Conference on Saturday 10th September.

The Speakers will be
Dr John Ennis, Journeys in Design
Stephen Clancy speaking on "Linen thread – Renfrewshire & Scotland: The legacy of Mrs Millar"
Lucy McConnell speaking on " The Hidden Histories of Paisley’s Textile
Economy Through the 18th & 19th Centuries"
The conference will be officially opened by Lorraine Cameron, Provost of Renfrewshire at 1pm.
There is ample car parking available at the Mile End Mill, free of charge on the day and there is a life available to the 4th floor.
