Alycia Pirmohamed, Mohamed Tonsy, and Jessica Widner are three debut authors currently based in Scotland who have recently published their first books. Join them for a reading from each of their works, followed by a discussion on the literary and publishing landscape, and their individual experiences publishing a debut with three different presses. Including perspectives from novelists and poets writing in different genres, and in the midst of new projects taking new shapes across new genres, this event aims to demystify what it means to be a first book author in Scotland today.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
