Kilmacolm Half Marathon, 10k and 3k is one of the biggest participation events in Inverclyde's sporting calendar and it returns for 2025 on Sunday 7th September!
About Kilmacolm Running Festival
The running of the Kilmacolm Half Marathon, 10k and 3k is one of the biggest participation events in Inverclyde's sporting calendar.
Inverclyde Leisure have done everything to make this an enjoyable event for the runners and the people of Inverclyde. We also encourage families to get involved for a fun filled day!
All races start at the Birkmyre Park Fitness Gym. The first event of the day is the Toddle Woddle which starts at 9am for a walk/run around Birkmyre Park. No pre-registration is required. The 3k race will start at 9.15am, Half Marathon will start at 10am, 10k will start at 10.30am. Registration opens at 8am- and will close 20 minutes before the race event is due to head off. On the day entries are available until 20 minutes before the event you want take part in starts and pre-registered participants are required to register on the day to collect their entry pack which includes a timing chip, race number and t-shirt.
Runners make their way through the streets of the village, surrounding countryside and along the cycle path for the 10k and Half Marathon before returning to the Birkmyre Fitness Gym for the finish.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
