Alan Bissett is an award-winning novelist, playwright and performer from Falkirk, who now lives in Lochwinnoch. His most well-known works are the novels Boyracers, The Incredible Adam Spark and Death of a Ladies' Man, as well as his 'one-woman show' The Moira Monologues and its two sequels. He also presented Inside The Mind of Robert Burns for BBC Scotland in 2020 and is currently working on his first novel for twelve years.
Kirstin Innes is the author of the novels Scabby Queen and Fishnet and the non-fiction book Brickwork: A Biography of the Arches. She is also a regular columnist for the Press and Journal newspaper.
