About The Farmers Choir 10th Anniversary Concert
The choir was formed in September 2013 after a call to past and present young farmer members to take part in the 75th Anniversary Concert of the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs (SAYFC)
Rehearsals took place weekly on Sunday afternoons at Lanark Market and on the 30th November 2013, 160 members took to the stage at The Hydro Arena, Glasgow.
We all thought this concert was a one off for the choir but it turned out to be the start of an amazing journey where the choirs have performed at events all over Scotland, including regular appearances at The Royal Highland Show.
Over the years, our concerts have successfully raised over £118,000 for charity. Our 10th Anniversary Concert takes place on Saturday 25th November 2023 at Paisley Town Hall with all proceeds going to support Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland.
