About Birding for Beginners - Big Garden Birdwatch Special

Are you new to birdwatching or interested in taking it up? Join the team at RSPB Lochwinnoch for the ideal workshop to introduce beginners to this fantastic hobby! Learn more about common birds and pick up tips and advice on wildlife watching techniques. Gain advice on how to use binoculars and scopes and how to choose printed resources to help you confidently identify wildlife. This workshop will focus on birds that feature in the top of our Big Garden Birdwatch each year as well as others found around the reserve. After this we’ll head out onto the reserve to put your new skills into practice. You don’t even need your own binoculars, as they are available to hire from the shop!
