About Rock For Exchange
We are thrilled to announce a fantastic afternoon of performances at The Bungalow by some much-loved local bands, as we raise funds for Exchange: a new theatre dedicated to children, young people and families.
The line-up on the day will include:
MrDB - a 4-piece band of close friends who are a regular fixture on the Renfrewshire music scene, with their eclectic mix of original songs.
Re:Bound - a Glasgow based 4-piece playing classic rock songs from 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s+.
El Galvarino – a young up and coming 4 piece multi-instrumentalist band from Glasgow, who are regulars on the busking and music scene. Their unique blend of music is played both acoustic and electric and includes Rock, Blues, Folk, Indie and Latin.
And performances from the members of PACE's Musical Theatre Company.
All funds raised from the event will go to Exchange - a new community theatre dedicated to children, young people and families. Plans for the project include a 300-seat main theatre, a studio theatre plus other community and creative spaces. Once complete, it will host in-house and touring theatre productions, and offer a wide programme of creative learning opportunities, as well as offering an alternative venue to Renfrewshire’s thriving cultural community.
