It wouldn't be midsummer without a ravishing country house affair to enjoy at Lauriston Castle, and this year we're delighted to return to the work of Merchant-Ivory with their 1992 adaptation of E.M.Forster's 1910 novel 'Howards End', a romantic drama of class distinctions in Edwardian Britain.

The distinguished cast playing the two intertwined families includes Emma Thompson, in her first Oscar-winning performance, alongside Anthony Hopkins, Vanessa Redgrave and Helena Bonham Carter. A complimentary glass of champagne will be served on the terrace before the film.

Dress Code: Garden Party

An Atmosphere OS production from New Media Scotland.
