Join The Urban Historian as he explores the heritage of the Renfrewshire weavers, concentrating on Paisley and Kilbarchan, in this evening talk!
About Free Talk: Renfrewshire Weavers
This is the first online talk by The Urban Historian since 2022 and marks the first phase in their return to work following treatment for Leukemia.
The talk will be on Wednesday 31st July 2024 at 7.30pm UK time and will focus on the Renfrewshire Weavers.
The talk will explore the heritage of the Renfrewshire weavers, concentrating on Paisley and Kilbarchan. We will also explore some of the writings of David Gilmour regarding the local weavers and some of the Paisley Weaver poets.
This talk is free, and will be held on ZOOM, but registration is required. If you would like to join the talk please register on the following link: us06web.zoom.us
