I am excited to invite you to another feel good February evening in the company of David Hamilton PhD as he shares about kindfulness and the health benefits of kindness as explored in his latest book "the joy of actually giving a f***"
David is a writer, columnist, speaker and kindness scientist, originally working in the pharmaceutical industry developing drugs for cardiovascular disease & cancer.
He was inspired by the placebo effect and how some people's conditions would improve because they believed a placebo was real so he left the industry to write books and educate people on how they can harness their mind & emotions to improve their mental & physical health
He is the author of 13 books, including "how your mind can heal your body" & the amazon best seller " the five side effects of kindness" and has appeared on TV, radio & podcasts both here & in the USA.
David is also a regular speaker in the public and corporate sector (including Google, NHS & the bank of England) speaking on a wide range of topics including the mind body connection & kindness delving into the science behind the health benefits of such things & presents them in an accessible, easy to absorb way.
Sharing fascinating research backed insights from his latest book David will speak about “kindfulness” and how being kind is good for you.
In the interests of kindness all profits from this evening will be donated to strathcarron hospice who looked after David’s dad and my own dad.
