The Boswell Book Festival, the World’s only Festival of Biography and Memoir takes place this year between 8-10 May at the beautiful Dumfries House, East Ayrshire.
This year’s star-studded lineup includes legendary broadcasters, award winning authors, icons of the stage and screen, musicians, poets, chefs, photographers, political commentators, heads of state; and stories from past to the present of iconic monarchs, female pioneers, war heroes, and people who have triumphed against the odds.
The Festival is set in and around the spectacular house and 2,000 acre grounds of Dumfries House Estate. With a bookshop, festival cafe, book signings, house tours and workshops included in the weekend's activities, it all makes for an outstanding day out, and a special opportunity to engage with authors and ideas in a truly unique setting.
